Runners sloshed their way across a soggy finish line in the 2016 Staten Island Advance Memorial Day Four-Mile Run on Monday, May 30. The wet weather did not deter 752 runners from taking part in the 36th annual race along Father Capodanno Boulevard and the Franklin D. Roosevelt Boardwalk. Among the runners, revelers and volunteers was a large contingent from Lifestyles for the Disabled who raced in the event, ran in the Fun Run, and handed out water to the racers.
